Alright. I decided to post this pic of it that was taken shortly after it was done. I wasn't standing up very straight so it looks a bit crooked but it really is straight. You can kind of see it starting to peel a little on the bottom right but oh well. I LOVE it! I have been wanting angel wings on my back for over 10 years but have NEVER found a design that I liked well enough to have on my body permanently. Then *celesse, who I watch, put out this deviation [link] called Gaia Junkie, and I saw the wings on her back and new I had to have them! She very kindly gave me her permission and now I'm a walking advertisement for her art! XD Small explanation about the color, you cannot do white ink on skin. THe skin absorbs it rather quickly and then it fades to a yucky beige. So I went for my other color scheme of blue and purple. I must thank Kelli so much, () I had to blow that tiny image up on the computer to the size that I wanted it, and then she was nice enough to vector line it for me for the tattoo artist, which said it was really nice and easy to work with template. I have to go back for touch-ups in a little less than a month and then it will be finished for sure!
Yay! I'm so glad you like it! Well, I was terrified that it would hurt something awful. So I told the tattoo artist that and he was soooo sweet! He said he would go slow and make sure I was used to it, but he told me that to him it feels like someone is scraping something sharp very lightly over sore skin. And it wasn't even as bad as that. But, becasue they are so big it took 3 hours! And the longer you sit, the sorer your skin gets. So on the left wing when he was filling it in it hurt like crazy! But it's not anything you can't deal with. It's hard to explain. But mine didn't really hurt until that last part and that was only because it took so long because they were so big.
Hmmm, not too bad then eh? All I want is either an outline of a star, or an outline of a fox in black, so mine wouldn't even need to be filled it. Someday I'll design one and get it...!
