*EDIT: Changed the horrid background to this simplistic but more pleasant one. :D And rewatermarked her more cleverly*

I GOT A TABLET FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :faints:
A Wacom Intuos3 6x8!!! SQUEEEEEE!!!!!! My best friend Anna got these gothic lolita kitty ears at A.W.A. and I fell in so much LUV I drew this!! :D

SOOOO, I REALLY REALLY REALLY need opinions on this!!! It's my very first tablet line art!!!! I used it to 'ink' a sketch! I know I need to work on the longer strokes, but I did the line art in OpenCanvas 4.5 and the blush, but colored it in Microsoft Expression Design.

Is the mix of both programs good???

I also did the background texture in Photoshop, I hope it's not too much, I can't decide personally.

Line Art- OpenCanvas 4.5

Coloring- Microsoft Expression Design

Texture- Photoshop

Congrats on he tablet! :excited: I can't wait to see more!!!

The linework is looking great and smooth and fluid! I do not see a disconnect with the coloring job. I love how you have a thicker/thinner varying line on her nose. Would it be hard to work a little of that variation into some of the other lineworks? It would add a lot of excitement the the larger forms and objects.

I do not care for the background as much, sorry. ^^; I do not mind textures, but if you had some texturing going on in your figure, it would marry the two elements together.

I believe in Jesus Christ my Saviour. If you do too, copy and paste this into your signature.
I'd say the mix was successful. Great work!

Don't worry, this is excellent work. I love the sepia colour scheme. The little bit of fur in her kitty ears is very cute.
